Recycle Organic Waste In Half The Time

With the Bokashi method you can compost food scraps, meat, small bones and dairy in just 4 – 6 weeks. Once the bucket is full, leave for two weeks without opening and then bury the contents straight into the garden soil. After two more weeks the organic waste will have completely decomposed into nutrient rich compost.

Bokashi Compost Without Unpleasant Odors

The Bokashi Organko compost bin is an airtight bin that creates an anaerobic environment for fermenting organic waste. Sprinkle the EM® Bokashi on top of the organic waste to kickstart the fermentation process and to prevent unpleasant odors, even when opening the container.

The unique bucket design catches a nutrient rich liquid fertilizer you can drain every 2-3 days and use to fertilize your indoor and outdoor plants.

Bokashi Tea should be diluted at a ratio of 100:1 (water:juice) to make the acid level safe for plants. Even when diluted, you should avoid adding it to young and tender plants or their foliage. Instead, add diluted bokashi juice to the soil surrounding the plants.
